Maziar Bahari’s wife thanks Berlusconi for the Italian government’s efforts on behalf of her husband

Paola Gourley, Maziar Bahari’s wife wrote to Italian prime minister Silvio Berlusconi thanking him for his government’s efforts on behalf of her husband. She is quoted as writing in the letter, “we are grateful that efforts made by your government on Maziar’s behalf had some positive impact.” A press release by AdnKronos was picked up by several Italian newspapers.
